Carmen Hayward-Stetson is not only an experienced actress and singer, but a producer.
As President/Sole Proprietor of VisuaLife Productions in Studio City, California, Carmen Hayward-Stetson was Executive Producer for a magazine-format TV talk show, "Gettin' It Right - A Contemporary Discussion of Mental and Physical Health Issues for African-American Families"; and a documentary, "Getting Baby Off the Bottle - The Effects of Alcohol on African-American Women and Children." She also produced theatre during her tenure as a member of the Board of Directors at the Ensemble Studio Theater in Hollywood including "West Memphis Mojo," (starring Larry Riley "Knott's Landing" and James Avery "Fresh Prince" ); In 1991, at Marla Gibbs' Crossroads Theater, Carmen was Event Producer for the West Coast Premiere of Bill Duke's film, "A Rage in Harlem," starring Danny Glover, Forrest Whitaker, Gregory Hines, and Robin Givens.
Ms. Hayward-Stetson has worked in Advertising, Publicity and Promotion for ABC Television, and ABC Motion Pictures.
She worked in Development at Taft Entertainment Television and produced special events for the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Department and the Constitutional Rights Foundation.
She also served as a Producer for N-Vision Media Productions, developing a techno-thriller feature film. Carmen earned a scholarship to study for a year at U. S.
International University's School of Performing and Visual Arts, and then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in theater from UCLA and an Associate in Arts in theater from Los Angeles City College.
She studied television & film production, and broadcasting, at UCLA extension and USC.
