Corey Randolph Schmitt was born January 15, 1991 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. The second son of Doug Schmitt, a geophysicist, and Cheryl Schmitt, a physiologist, Corey developed a keen interest in Acting at a young age.
His passion led him to attend Grant MacEwan University, The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and Vancouver Film School.
