Gunnar Cauthery began acting as a child, playing lead roles in the Icelandic feature film Benjamin Dove and the much-loved BBC children's drama series The Demon Headmaster.
After university he studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and since graduating in 2008 he has sustained a prolific career in UK theatre. He has also been seen on screen in War Horse, Genius and The Tudors.
